Grace > My Circumstances (Part 1) Most of us can comprehend that grace is greater than our sin, we understand that is a core part of the Gospel. We may even be able to grasp that grace is greater than our hurts; and that we need to learn to extend grace to those who have hurt us, because of the great grace extended to us. But what about the daily grind? What about when life is hard, and we need something to strengthen us to move forward during tough times? The great news is, grace is greater than our circumstances as well…our disappointments, our weaknesses, even our despair. |

Forgiveness is not the natural response of the human spirit; but it is a necessary step for those who have received grace and wish to walk in it daily. Grace > My Hurts This week, we flip the coin, from our emphasis on our RECEIVING grace, to our EXTENDING grace to others; even those that have caused hurt and pain to us. It makes grace a lot “messier”, but it is something that we are expected to do. |
