We use the first few verses of 2 Peter to introduce the idea of thankfulness, as Peter talks of the “magnified grace and peace” that God has granted us, not to mention the “great and precious promises” that are ours in Christ.

For our annual mission’s Sunday emphasis (church-wide), we were privileged to have Mrs. Valerie Forsberg, the newly appointed Ass’t Director that will oversee the programs and offerings at The Bridge @ Green Street; our new Helping Center (and more) area on the North side.  Valerie shared her calling to this position, and her great passion for helping people of need in an informative and inspiring presentation.  Next week, we’ll resume with 1 Peter, chapter 3.
